Rags2Riches and Eastwood Mall Launch Cory Aquino Edition Enviro-Chic Bag

In a synergistic blend of advocacies and inspiration, Rags2Riches and Eastwood Mall launch a commemorative Cory Aquino Edition of its bestselling enviro-chic bag. Once again a collaboration between Asia’s leading designer Rajo Laurel and the Nanays of Payatas, the yellow-themed bag is inspired by icon of democracy former President Corazon Aquino.
The limited edition enviro-chic bag will only be available exclusively in Eastwood Mall for a few weeks, with proceeds benefiting both Rags2Riches and the Benigno Aquino Foundation.

Seems like every mall in the country’s releasing their own environmental bags. I took specific interest in what SM did by using renowned painter MBaldemor to create the artwork for the bag’s front. In addition to this move, they’re giving advantage points to people who use the bag to shop. Unfortunately though, I haven’t seen a single soul proudly carry that SM bag—it’s just too tacky and the general population couldn’t care less about the name, Baldemor.
R2R and Rajo Laurel obviously make up a different story. This is the first time I’ve seen one actually sell out.
Great job!
