Social Enterprise World Forum
Thanks to MicroVentures Chairman Rapa Lopa, I’ll be attending and speaking on our experience in Hapinoy and Rags2Riches at the Social Enterprise World Forum in Melbourne Australia, this coming October 6 to 8.
SEWF, according to their literature,
aims to support the social enterprise sector as a means to create sustainable change including in the areas of employment, community regeneration and environmental sustainability, as well as showcase successful enterprises and raise the profile of the sector. It will cover topics such as how to start a sustainable social enterprise, growing and scaling social enterprise, developing markets for social enterprise, investment for social enterprise development, measuring impact and creating the policy environment for successful growth.
I’ll be presenting in the “Around the Globe” session, “a snapshot of inspiring social enterprises from around the world in pictures and stories … the global view.”; As well as “Social enterprises that have scaled and replicated” as part of the Pathways to Scale theme on October 8.
